Good night poses these questions directly and discreetly at the same time – using the example of a passenger plane that disappeared in 2014 and the dementia of an individual that coincidentally manifested itself at the same time. Over a period of eight years, Helgard Haug traces the disappearance, the search and the struggle with uncertainty, linking her own experience with the grief work of the bereaved. The production of the same name was invited to the Theatertreffen, nominated for the Mülheim Drama Prize and declared ‘Production of the Year’ by Theater Heute. The radio play was awarded 'Radio Play of the Month for March' by the Academy of Arts.
