Hooked on a Book

a performative book project with many pages

By Helgard Haug

Two people meet and open a book: they start reading through it - the book asks questions and encourages exchange and conversation - about life and the world on a large and small scale, about what separates and connects us, about being alone and being together.
A completely analogue, yet interactive piece between two strangers.
A double exposure.
Wherever. A play that needs no stage and no spectators. A play that can take place in any corner of the world: a hermit's farm, a small town, a metropolis.

Page by page, the two people become entangled and thus become the main characters of the book.
