I MAP BY PAINTING

NAME: KATERINA HALAZIA

AGE: 58

BORN: ATHENS

PLACE OF RESIDENCE : RAFINA

ORIGIN: NORTHERN NAFPAKTIA

AT THE NIGHT OF THE PREMIERE SHE WILL COME WITH A CAR FROM MARATHONOS AVENUE, ATTIKI HIGHWAY, KATEHAKI, TURN LEFT TO MESOGION AVENUE, CONTINUE TO VASILLEOS KONSTANTINOU, THROUGH SYNTAGMA REACH SYGGROU AVENUE, TURN RIGHT TO HATZICHRISTOU STREET, AND FROM THERE AND WALK UP TO HERODION.

Katerina is a set designer who has been working as teacher and now as a French teacher at the aviation school, for economic reasons as she points out. She is known for her bad temper. What she actually does is asking and answering  insistently, without though being angry. She likes to search deep into things, so she would look deep, then deep deep, then deep deep deep».

Apart from her work she is very good at cooking, and believes that cooking brings people closer to each other. One of her specialities is tagine.

She identifies herself with the fire that Prometheus gave to people, because fire brings light. “Fire gives life. Fire can go on and off.”
She finds Antigone a very impressive text but she really likes Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey because they are two fantastic fairytales.
