NAME: STELIOS KAKAGIANNIS

AGE: 62

PLACE OF RESIDENCE: ILIOUPOLI

BIRTHPLACE: LARISA

ORIGIN: LARISA

TO COME TO THE THEATRE ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE HE WILL DRIVE WITH HIS CAR TO THE SUBWAY STATION “AGIOS DIMITRIOS”, GET ON THE RED LINE TO AKROPOLIS AND WALK THE REST OF THE DISTANCE.

He came to Athens in the age of 18 to do Pharmaceutical first and Business Administration studies later.

Today he owns a pharmacy in his neighborhood and makes his own products (like shampoos, face cremes etc). "I consider myself a 'pharmakopoios' in the most literal way: 'poio farmaka' (I make medicines). I am not interested in just moving boxes over the counter".

About the current situation in Greece he says: "An optimist is someone who is not informed. Values like justice and religion collapsed. At the pharmacy, there used to come one person in three months asking for a job, now it's a daily thing.

How can you be optimistic? From where do you want to draw optimism? From culture? From social and environmental behaviour? Corruption was all around us; I don't understand why everybody is suddenly acting so surprised. Those who embezzled money should go to jail. If my two daughters, who are currently studying abroad, find better work conditions there I would encourage them to stay there".

He used to read ancient drama, but now not so much. The Oresteia trilogy is his favourite play and Orestes his favourite character: "I like the fact that, in the end, justice is served".
From the Aeschylus’ play he identifies himself with Prometheus.
