ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE SHE WILL BE DRIVING FROM HER HOME TO THE THEATRE FOLLOWING THE ROUTE ACHARNON - OMONOIA - STADIOU - SYNGROU - CHATZICHRISTOU STREET.

 

Vera was born in a small village near Livadeia in 1957. She quit school after the 6th grade and started helping her mother on the fields, gathering tomatoes and olives.
When she was 18 she moved to Nea Filadelfia, Athens, to take care of her brother's household who found work as a cab driver. In 1980 she got married to Stamatis Sarantos (a known basketball player back then) with whom she had two children: Konstantina and Spyros. For the last 8 years she is employed at a car wash facility.

Vera doesn’t read ancient drama, but identifies with Prometheus: "The way I see it he doesn't commit a crime and shouldn't be punished, because what he does is for the greater good".
