Name: Egil Rikter-Svendsen
Age: 84
District: Ullern
Nationality: Norwegian
I live together with my girlfriend Åse in a flat that has balconies on each side

I am a former development manager in Joh. Johansson – what is now known as Norges-gruppen: a food wholesaler company.

I belong to the proper ones, the ones who keep up to date with the news, the ones who like Norwegian winter sport and football, the ones who like women, the social ones, the newspaper readers, the ones who enjoy life, the ones who like exclusivity, the ones who like the number ones, the generous ones and the ones who love their grandchildren, but I do not belong to the radical, the ones who like to be alone, the ones wearing jeans, the ones who use a-endings when speaking, the inarticulate or the ones who approve of the youth putting the feet up on the neighbouring seats or.

I live in Oslo because as a smalltown-citizen I thought it was natural to move to Oslo. I first took School of Management in Copenhagen and applied for jobs for 6 months before I got a position as 1st secretary in NCF. I have met all my women in Oslo – the one and the other. The second one - she is the one I share my life with now. I appreciate the culture here, and I have never considered moving.

I have no relationship to An Enemy of the People, but I have borrowed the book. “The strongest is the one standing the most alone” can be understood in so many ways that  I find it difficult to give an answer. The majority though does not want to stand alone.

For me it was a turningpoint and a new experience finding a new girlfriend when I was over 70.

For the performance the driver in the house brings me – or more realistically we will be using the bus.
