Maroulia Simoudi went to the school of Womens’ non-governmental, volunteer association (HEN) at a young age and learned sewing. Later she brought work at home and did handicrafts. She has two sons and two granddaughters. Her husband worked in Air France ground transportation department. He passed away in 2001 and since she lives from his pension. When she was with her husband they travelled a lot: she has been to Egypt, Paris and England. Right now she is a housewife, she loves to dance and she takes part in several cultural events. If she decides to take vacations she will go 2-3 days in Poros island. Her economic situation is quite difficult at the moment «When the pension is small, you have trouble surviving. I believe that when we were in drachma, before the euro took its place, things were much better.»
She has never read ancient drama, but goes to the theatre and watches tragedies. She used to watch the TV series Hercules. From the characters in Prometheus she feels closer to Prometheus because of the love and care he offered to humans.
