PLACE OF RESIDENCE: ACHARNES

BIRTHPLACE: ATHENS

ORIGIN: ASIA MINOR AND RETHYMNO

ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE SHE WILL DRIVE WITH HER CAR TO THE DOUKISSIS PLAKENTIAS SUBWAY STATION, GET ON THE BLUE LINE TO SYNTAGMA AND FROM THERE ON THE RED LINE TO AKROPOLIS. THE REST OF THE DISTANCE SHE WILL WALK UPHILL TO THE HERODEION.

On a weekday Elvira wakes up at 6 o’ clock, drives young Konstantinos (8) to school, Magda (6) to preschool and the youngest Nikoletta Eleni (2) to her mother in Marousi. After that she drives to her workplace in Magoula (20 km away). At seven o’ clock in the evening the family is again reunited at home.

“Patience is what’s unique about me. The laundry I have to do every day is a nightmare”.
She studied for four years at the American College Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing & Management and is currently employed at “Plaisio” in the marketing sector.

She feels like a stranger eveytime she has to go downtown Athens : “I can’t believe how much the centre of the city has changed. I’d love to take my kids for a walk in Ermou street, Monastiraki etc., but I’m too afraid to do it”.
Elvira lives with her husband and their 3 children in Kokkinos  Mylos.

She doesn’t read ancient drama, but is familiar with the Medea – myth : “as a mother of three, I can’t believe how a woman could kill her children. When you give life, you are responsible for it”. From the Aeschylus - play she identifies with Prometheus.
